#1. Inviting holistic wellness and healing into our daily lives is less complicated than we think. It can be as beautiful and simple as:
• enjoying a cup of tea
• a morning sun "bath"
• 5 minutes of gratitude
• intentional deep breathing
• growing a pot of herbs on your front step
• calling or texting a loved one
• making a homemade meal
• speaking positive affirmations to yourself
• aiming for enough rest and sleep
• exploring the benefits of essential oils
• walking/standing barefoot daily to 'ground'
• frequency music or sounds daily 🎶
When we fill - up - our - cup and tend to our own "garden" we are then able to move through our days with joy and contentment...and more freely give to and spend time with others ♡
#2. Spring is the time of year to craft fresh spruce tip goodness 🌲
Spruce tips smell amazing, are high in vitamin C and are naturally antifungal, antimicrobial and antiseptic.
You can enjoy them as:
• fresh eating
• brewed in a cup of tea
• added to a salad
• as a beautiful addition to your bath or steam
Other fun and delicious options are spruce tip infusions:
• to a jar, add a layer of tips, then honey, then tips...and repeat. Soak for several weeks and strain.
• in a container add either sugar or salt and crushed up/blended spruce tips. Allow to infuse and dry out for several weeks then use a strainer to separate out the needles.
Delicious medicine from nature!
